Spring Training

Built in 1994, the Peoria Sports Complex was the first two team Major League Baseball spring training and player development facility in the country. Currently the home of the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners, this facility is owned and operated by the City of Peoria.

During the months of February and March over 230,000 people come to the complex and enjoy Major League Baseball in a minor league setting. Offering 30 games in 30 days, spring training has become an event unto itself.

Considered by many the premier facility of its kind in the country, the Peoria Sports Complex entertains baseball all year round. USA Baseball and Super Series America make their home here, holding their regional and national championship tournaments at the complex throughout the year. An international feel can be found with teams from China, Korea and Japan occasionally utilizing the facility for developmental purposes.

Besides baseball, the Peoria Sports Complex is also home to city festivals, concerts, RV sales, group outings and more. For more information go to: www.peoriaaz.com/sportscomplex
